ESP2 is VIPER's exclusive serial communications protocol that allows extra ultra-security, high-speed communication between systems and enables many of VIPER's key features.
VIPER recently made a significant performance upgrade to the RF receiver section of many of our award-winning security and remote start systems. The new XR+ Extreme Range superheterodyne receiver has an improved sensitivity specification of between 3 dB and 6 DB, which equates to a measurable range increase on the order of 15 percent. It also offers improved image rejection for certain types of RF interference, resulting in improved reliability.
Start, control, or locate your car from virtually anywhere with your smartphone. You can add a VIPER SmartStart module to any compatible VIPER remote start or security with remote start system to make your system SmartStart ready. By adding a VSM350 module, your system will also be ready for SmartStart GPS.
I just had the 4105v unit installed in my 2016 Honda civic ,I love it no more cold days in this winter and cooler summers to come .
I installed this in my 07 F150 maybe 4/5 years ago, works great, never had an issue. Great product
I love my remote start! My parents got it for me for Christmas 2 years ago. Cold months in the winter are no longer dreaded in my Honda Pilot! 100% worth it and would recommend to anyone!
Just had the 4105V installed in my Ford F150 and it works great. No more cold mornings in Wisconsin.
I love the whole concept as my car no longer has garage space. My issue is why it has to shut off when I open my door....told by installer that is what has to happen. Told then I have to press my start button to start car again. I have a 2014 Mazda 3 keyless entry car.
Love it except on cold days.....needs to crank engine for more then 1 second. Needs more like 3 seconds to work on cold mornings. Still recommend it.
Viper model 4105v installed by Speed of Sound Technologies . supporting owner run business . viper certified installer . Great product . Nice to get in a warmed up car in this cold weather here in the east coast .
Got this installed on my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder a year ago. Works great, never had any problems with it and it has much better range than the OEM keyless entry FOB. Plan to have another installed in my 2006 Toyota. Couldn't be happier!
works great. just wish it would honk when locked(not sure if possible), exterior lights go off at least. Also, do NOT use the remote start when you have anything plugged into a trailer hitch, this blew a fuse two times and EVERYTHING electrical in my dash/doors went out, my windows were down
I've been very pleased with my Viper remote start. Installed in my Toyota Camry by Best Buy. It has performed great no problems.
I've been very pleased with my Viper remote start. Installed in a Honda by Best Buy - only issue I have had is when I try and start it from a long distance away and large trucks are parked on both sides, the signal doesn't always get through to start the car. Completely satisfied otherwise.
For what this 4105V model is, an entry level system, I am very pleased. I have a 1990 luxury GM make, best Buy put it in.. got it for Xmas 2014 ( 8 months now) and works like a charm. It get hot in Florida (95 today) and this thing works fine. I set the temp in my car, start it 10 mins before i got out to it in storelots etc and it works from insi9de the store, and doors locked, no key inside to release the wheel. When i get in, the air has already started and up to speed.. The car controls when set, will activate heat or A/C depending on what is needed, love it. Have demonstarated and recommended to friends (3 so far and they have each purchased one 9 2 got the premium jobbie but life is tough.. A+ from me..
I got the viper 4103xv as a 2013 Christmas gift and when it works, it works great. The problem is that it only works for a month or six weeks before it stops working. It was purchased at Best Buy and I've had it in there six times since December fix it. Just returned from there today, their Geek Squad guys don't know it keeps going out and I'm getting a bit frustrated going back so much. It's installed in a 2012 Hyundai Tucson. Has anyone else ever had this problem? I hope it keeps working this time because when it works it is a very good product.
Once it finishes booting up it works Great!
