Enhance the security of any install with an optional audio sensor, which detects tampering and breaking of the vehicle’s glass using a microphone and a microprocessor, which analyzes the frequency, intensity and timing of intrusion sounds to eliminate false alarms. Detects even “soft breaks” where the glass is shattered quietly, which might not trigger the shock sensor. The 506T adds an additional layer of protection.

    this just saved my but somone tryed to pry my glass away with a screw driver the moment it shattered my car started screaming? for help and i rescued it 10 thumbs up for a 20-40 dollar attachment.

    I would say this is a 4-star product, but compared to other alarms, this should not be an accessory. It should come w/ the alarm period. But it doesn't, so I had to add it on. You need the glass sensor. Picks up "glass" sounds, and also "shaking key" sounds. Great add-on. Must have.

    i have this on my truck and in my house it works wonders both places. most thefts think that if they break a window it wont set off the alarm. but if you have item they think twice next time.
