After reading the reviews on this product I went ahead and got it installed along with my 3303 Viper Alarm. The reviews informed me of the draw backs to adding this feature to my alarm but like I said I installed it anyway. I just wanted to add to the list of potentially negative consequences involving this alarm, it's also sensitive to anything next to it such as a car, wall or just about anything else. The good thing is, is that after a few minutes it stops "warning" you of a possible threat. Another thing, even though I have tint on my windows that has metal in it, the unit still works well, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a little peace of mind for when they have a great car and it's out of sight from the owner.

I have a Jeep Wrangler...which is the easiest car to break into...that said, it was broken into twice before I decided to purchase a security system. I purchased this, and have been completely satisfied! It took a few times to get it set the way I wanted it to and the warn-away goes off from hard rain every now and again (I choose not to arm my system when I know it is going to rain now)...but I love it! The bright LED light is a deterrent as well. Highly recommend if you have a Jeep!

This product is great for short trips when you don't wish to completely lock up the car as far as rolling up windows or turning it off etc. This feature still provides the same great security while doing everyday activities still creating piece of mind.

This works great i have it in a 95 mustang...its not a convertible but after many hours of playing with it i have it set just right ...i feel it can be used for cars just take your time getting it to the right point of triggering it...how ever it dose have one big down fall!! ....living in Michigan it snows, and yup u guessed it i small layer over ur car or melting off your car will set it off every time with this ...other then that its great

I owned this on my 2G AWD Talon. I wanted the outer field to trip causing the alarm to chirp if someone was looking inside the car. It works well until it rains and then rain drops rolling down the windows start to trip the outer field. The inner field works very well after it is properly set, but it takes a few tries.

Have this installed in my S2000 convertible. The module intself sits right below the center console behind the cup holder. This is a MUST for convertibles. As soon as I reach into the car or hover my hand over the soft top the alarm goes off. Sometimes it can sense tree leaves but it will just trigger the warn away and not the full alarm. Overall this product is very good and will give you piece of mind on the convertible.

This device is good if you have a convertible or plan on leaving your windows down. . . Nice if you own the car but if you are an installer it gets to be annoying when customers have to come back to your shop 2-4 times before reaching the right level of sensitivity either it’s too sensitive and tree blowing in the wind sets it off or you put your arm in the car and only the warn away chirp comes on. . . once they are set correctly with the dual zones they work great but would not recommend them in just any car.
